HTC Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of IT Project Manager (Ref# ITPM25HHP).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Plan, schedule, monitor, support, and provide technical management for various IT projects. Guide the strategic direction, operations, and maintenance for deployment activities across all implemented modules and other assigned products or applications. Lead and manage software development projects for a product portfolio. Manage the deployment transformation to ensure that product roadmaps are developed and in line with the established strategy. Engage leadership in the budgeting and planning process and provide leadership with status updates and potential issues. Integrate the business strategy and knowledge of software capabilities into vision and direction for all related products. Ensure that all products support the appropriate business processes and have appropriate support and maintenance processes in place. Lead the design, development, and delivery aspects of the deployment transformation program or other assigned products. Partner with business and technical leaders to deliver, maintain, and support enterprise-wide business solutions. Lead all development aspects of SDLC (software development life-cycle) for Guidewire projects in partnership with the PMO (Project Management Office). Ensure all development and maintenance projects are in accordance with the strategy and adhere to product vision and innovation roadmaps. Head project execution, deployment, and overall leadership and coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Partner with the project team to design, develop, and support enterprise-wide solutions. Develop project documentation in collaboration with PMO including project initiation, budget, project plan, and resource plan. Escalate issues, risks, and decisions as necessary and develop mitigation actions. Own product releases and provide status to leadership. Partner with PMO to prepare overall project schedule, milestones, tasks, and estimates. Ensure that technical design, testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are properly documented. Partner with business systems analysts to analyze business and functional requirements. Coordinate with architecture and development teams to perform code reviews to ensure that all solutions are aligned. Use of Agile, Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire BillingCenter, JIRA, Confluence, Rally, Azure DevOps, SoapUI, Postman, SQL Developer, SSRS, SSIS, SSMS, and SQL Server.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Systems Analyst, Associate Projects, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with SDLC, project management, project plan, project schedule, JIRA, Azure DevOps, SoapUI, and SQL Developer. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
