Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description
Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will be an integral part of the production line during our exciting ramp-up phase. You will be responsible for assembling materials, operating machines, and ensuring quality by inspecting parts before they are boxed and shipped. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is essential in this role.
Responsibilities
Assemble materials and operate machines on the production line.
Inspect parts for quality assurance before packaging.
Box and prepare items for shipment.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with a team in a 6-person operation.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of recent experience in manufacturing.
Experience in roles such as production worker, operator, assembler, or warehouse worker.
Ability to lift 40 lbs and handle large components.
Proven experience in visual inspection for quality control.
Demonstrated job longevity with 8 months or more at past positions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical skills.
Experience with machine operation.

Work Environment
The workspace is undergoing improvements for a cleaner environment. You will work in a dedicated team of six, overseeing operations. Work attire includes work pants, a work shirt, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and a face mask.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.20 - $17.20/hr.
