About the Role
As our Accounting Manager, you will oversee financial reporting and accounting operations. You’ll lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, prepare and review GAAP-compliant workpapers and reconciliations, manage daily accounting functions, and provide insights to support operational decisions. You will also supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals while maintaining strong internal controls.
What You’ll Do
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and review account reconciliations.
Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for leadership.
Monitor daily accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and general ledger postings.
Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and accounting systems.
Analyze budgets vs. actuals and provide insights to support operational decisions.
Supervise and develop the accounting team, setting performance expectations.
Support audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and ensuring compliance.
What We’re Looking For
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close procedures.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems (experience with Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and month-end close.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
