As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) within the Kelly Enterprise Technology PMO, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering impactful technology initiatives across the enterprise. This role focuses on driving strategic, cross-functional projects that improve operational efficiency, enable scalable solutions, and support Kelly’s business and technology goals. You will independently lead technical teams and ensure that projects deliver value, meet business needs, and align with compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Independent Leadership & Project Management:
Lead up to 2+ technical teams to deliver complex, cross-functional IT projects across a variety of domains.
Define project scope, prioritize tasks, establish milestones, and manage resources to achieve goals on time and within budget.
Collaborate with IT leaders, business stakeholders, and vendors to align on objectives and drive project success.
Technical Expertise & Risk Management:
Understand the architecture, dependencies, scalability, and performance considerations of enterprise IT systems and solutions.
Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating when needed to maintain progress.
Ensure technical solutions are secure, compliant, scalable, and aligned with long-term sustainability goals.
Stakeholder Engagement & Representation:
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity on goals, timelines, and requirements.
Represent IT systems and project progress to both technical and non-technical audiences with confidence and clarity.
Process Improvement & Delivery Excellence:
Continuously improve team delivery processes to accelerate value, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
Apply Agile, Lean, or DevOps principles to optimize project execution and support iterative development.
Oversee solution delivery, including testing, deployment, and integration across systems.
Effective Communication & Documentation:
Deliver clear and actionable project updates to stakeholders, leadership, and steering committees.
Create and maintain high-quality documentation to support ongoing operations and knowledge transfer.
Define success metrics and ensure continuous improvement through measurable outcomes.
Collaboration & Relationship Building:
Build strong relationships across engineering, operations, business, and leadership teams.
Facilitate collaboration to align on priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive project outcomes.
Support team development and foster a culture of learning, accountability, and shared success.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years managing technology projects, with a focus on customer-facing or front-office systems.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of front-office technologies, including CRM systems, client engagement tools, and integration platforms.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to define scope, manage resources, and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
Process Optimization: Experience applying Agile, Lean, or DevOps methodologies to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills with the ability to manage scope and resolve blockers.
Collaboration: A track record of building relationships and fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years managing complex IT projects in cross-functional and enterprise environments.
Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of IT systems, integrations, infrastructure, or application development across various business domains.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to define scope, manage timelines and budgets, and deliver outcomes in fast-paced settings.
Process Optimization: Experience leveraging Agile, Lean, or DevOps to improve delivery velocity and quality.
Base pay range for this position is $35-40 per hour. Final hourly compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
