This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Establish, maintain, and validate employee payroll records to support accuracy, completeness, and multi-state compliance. * Process regular, off-cycle, and special payrolls, including final pay for terminations, retroactive adjustments, and payroll corrections. * Calculate, review, and record payroll earnings, taxes, and deductions in accordance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. * Administer involuntary deductions such as garnishments, levies, child support, and tax liens, ensuring accurate setup, timely remittance, and ongoing compliance. * Execute routine payroll processing activities for regular and off-cycle payrolls in accordance with established timelines and internal controls. * Follow documented payroll procedures, checklists, and approval workflows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. * Maintain well-organized payroll documentation and supporting records; provide requested data and explanations to internal stakeholders and external partners as needed. * Serve as a contact for employee payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and issue resolution, delivering professional, responsive, and confidential service. * Partner closely with the People & Culture team to coordinate payroll activities related to new hires, terminations, benefit changes, and leave administration. * Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll, compensation, and employee information at all times, in compliance with company policies and data privacy requirements.YOUR EXPERIENCE. The successful candidate will have: * 3-5 years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment. * Strong working knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and payroll best practices. * Hands-on experience with payroll systems; UKG experience strongly preferred. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reconciliations, reporting, and data analysis. * Experience preparing payroll reports and supporting documentation for review and reporting purposes. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict payroll deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed during payroll cycles, year-end, or special processing periods.In addition, please take a moment to review ourUniversal Job Standards.Studies have shown that we are less likely to apply to jobs unless we meet every single qualification.
