Service Delivery Manager
About the role
As a Service Delivery Manager , you will make an impact by leading end‑to‑end software maintenance and post‑production support efforts to ensure high‑quality, stable, and scalable applications. You will be a valued member of our delivery team, collaborating closely with engineering, QA, and client stakeholders to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:
Lead and oversee software maintenance activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of system performance.
Design and execute test strategies leveraging data analytics to validate product quality and reliability.
Provide expert troubleshooting and optimize application queries for enhanced post‑production performance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement sustainable technical solutions and service improvements.
Ensure adherence to service delivery standards, SLAs, and best practices across applications and platforms.

What you need to have to be considered
10–12 years of experience in software maintenance, service delivery, or application support.
Strong experience designing and executing test strategies using testing data analytics.
Proficiency in: Java, MySQL, HTML, Visual Basic, JCL, XML, JavaScript, Java Batch, JUnit, and C# .
Hands-on experience with post‑production support, debugging, and query optimization.
Strong working knowledge of JEE, Spring, Hibernate, REST, JSF, JSP, PrimeFaces/IceFaces, JDBC, DB2, and Oracle .
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and client teams and communicate complex technical information clearly.

Experience leading service delivery for complex enterprise systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for continuous improvement.
Proven experience working in hybrid technology environments or modernizing legacy applications.
Ability to drive performance improvements, identify automation opportunities, and implement best‑practice support models.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until March 23rd, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
