Your day at NTT DATA:
It is a leadership role, responsible for driving growth and market differentiation for Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Annuity (L&A) Insurance System Integration Advisory services by shaping the advisory-led GTM strategy, accelerating pipeline and revenue, and positioning the organization as a trusted partner for large-scale insurance modernization and transformation programs. The responsibilities also include developing a strong marketplace of InsureTech providers, pre-integrated with NTT DATA’s agentic workplace solution for Insurance.
This role operates as a forward-deployed SI advisor, partnering directly with insurance carriers to deploy transformative AI enabled core solutions for underwriting, policy servicing, claims processing, billing and customer engagement. This dual-focus role demands a unique blend of industry expertise, commercial strategy, and hands-on execution capabilities.
In this job, you will:
GTM Strategy & Market Differentiation
Define and execute the GTM strategy for P&C and L&A system integration advisory offerings
Develop differentiated value propositions across core modernization, platform selection, cloud migration, digital transformation, and data & analytics
Identify priority client segments, buyer personas, and use cases across Tier 1 and Tier 2 insurers
Translate market needs into scalable advisory offerings and industry solutions
Advisory Sales & Revenue Growth
Own pipeline development and revenue growth for Insurance SI advisory services
Partner with sales and account leaders to shape and win complex, advisory-led transformation deals
Serve as deal architect and executive sponsor for strategic pursuits
Guide pricing, commercial models, and advisory-to-delivery conversion strategies
Industry & Platform Ecosystem Leadership
Build and expand strategic alliances with insurance platforms and technology partners
Core system Vendors (e.g. Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, iPipeline, FAST, CalcFocus etc)
InsureTechs (Rating/Pricing engines, data providers, AI model providers etc.)
Hyperscalers and Data Cloud providers
Drive joint GTM motions, platform-led advisory offerings, and co-innovation initiatives
Ensure alignment between advisory recommendations and downstream implementation capabilities
Offering & Capability Development
Shape system integration advisory offerings including:
Core system modernization and replacement
Platform evaluation and vendor selection
Target architecture and roadmap definition
Program governance, operating model, and transformation planning
Collaborate with delivery, architecture, and industry teams to ensure repeatability and quality
Develop accelerators, methodologies, and assets to scale advisory impact
Thought Leadership & Market Presence
Act as an external thought leader for P&C and L&A insurance transformation
Drive POVs, whitepapers, executive briefings, and industry event participation
Engage with analysts and influence market perception and brand credibility
Governance & Execution
Define KPIs for GTM effectiveness, advisory pipeline, and conversion to implementation
Establish operating rhythm across sales, marketing, alliances, and delivery
Track market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to refine strategy
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Actuarial Science), with an advanced degree being a plus.
Deep Insurance Domain Expertise: Extensive experience working within the P&C or L&A insurance industries, with a strong understanding of core value chains (underwriting, policy servicing, claims).
GTM & Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in a GTM, product marketing, or solutions engineering role for a technical product sold into the financial services/insurance sector.
Preferred Technical Background: Proficiency in System integration and key vendor products ( Policy admin, Claims, Reinsurance, Illustration, Rating/Pricing, Document generation etc). Experience on Mainframe / AS400 modernization is desirable
AI Knowledge: Understanding of agentic AI frameworks, Large Language Models (LLMs), and how they can be practically applied to solve insurance business challenges.
Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive and technical stakeholders alike.
Required experience:
15+ years of experience in line with requirements of the role – Insurance domain, technology, leadership, and GTM experience.
Strategic vision and solid execution skills
Experience of developing P&C or L&A partner ecosystem
Responsive, professional persona with relationships with key insurance vendors (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, CalcFocus, FAST etc) and InsureTechs
Experience of developing a Product competency center for key products
Travel: As needed for business needs up to 50%.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The range for this position is $160K - 296K base plus bonus. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
