Job Title: Concrete Mixer Driver
Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Concrete Mixer Driver to support daily concrete production operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating equipment, and moving throughout a production yard and warehouse environment. You will play a key role in ensuring materials are mixed, transported, and staged efficiently to keep production running smoothly. This position operates primarily during the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime being common, resulting in 10–12 hour workdays.
Responsibilities
Operate batch mixing equipment to prepare concrete according to production requirements.
Drive and maneuver company vehicles and equipment within the yard and warehouse.
Transport raw materials and finished mixes safely and efficiently.
Assist with loading/unloading materials and maintaining material flow.
Perform routine equipment checks and report issues as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and plant guidelines.
Support general yard and warehouse tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in batch truck driving or concrete mix driving.
Valid driver’s license.
Comfortable working in both yard and warehouse environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with truck operation, concrete forms, and batch mixing.

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily indoors, characterized by a dirty, hot, and sweaty construction-type atmosphere. It is highly active and physical, with team members moving throughout the day. The environment is team-oriented, where everyone contributes to completing tasks, ensuring no one is above or below any job. Safety is a significant focus, with ample safety measures installed in the plant.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trenton, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
