ManpowerGroup CNC Thread Grinder in Traverse City, Michigan
Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a CNC Thread Grinder to join their team. As a CNC Thread Grinder, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting quality assurance and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Thread Grinder
Location: Traverse City, MI
Pay Range: $22-28/hr
Shift: 1st (6:00am - 2:30pm) and 2nd (2:30pm - 11:00pm)
What's the Job?
Set up and operate CNC thread grinding machines to produce high-precision components
Produce parts that meet strict quality and tolerance specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to ensure continuous operation
What's Needed?
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings
Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
