Hamill Manufacturing Company has a full-time Dimensional Inspector/CMM Programmer I position now available.
We are an established company that provides machined products to the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program as well as its growing commercial clients.

Summary:
Performs inspections; verifies compliance with specifications; and prepares applicable reports.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs receipt inspection, in-process inspection, and final dimensional inspection.
- Capable of using various hand tools for inspection.
- Inspects before and after hydro-testing.
- Performs visual inspection in accordance with contracts and/or MIL-STD-1308.
- Verifies cleanliness in accordance with MIL-STD-767 & MIL-STD-2041.
- Verifies/applies marking IAW contract and/or MIL-STD-792.
- Knowledgeable with G.D. &T.
- Perform alloy identification test and hardness test.
- Reads/understands blueprints and drawings.
- Calibrates instruments and/or updating calibration software.
- Performs CMM inspection, as required.
- Programs CMM.
- Perform FARO ARM inspection, as required.
- Works with customer and Government Inspectors (DCMC).
- Reviews dimensional data sheets, understands inspection procedures, prepares DMRs in Epicor and generates Inspection status cards.
Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and use calibration instruments.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word and Excel spreadsheet software, Internet software, and email.
Certificates and Licenses: No specific certificate or license is required of the position.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
