Construction Site Administrator – Tracy, MN (Onsite)

Project Overview

We are seeking a Site Administrator to support operations at the Lyon County Project site located in Tracy, MN. This is a fully onsite administrative role supporting a construction project team. The Site Administrator will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the onsite construction trailer by providing comprehensive administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to onsite construction staff

  • Manage office and site supply inventory, including ordering and stocking

  • Coordinate and track material deliveries

  • Maintain records and documentation

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings

  • Arrange catering and support onsite events as needed

  • Assist with general project support and office organization

    Typical Day

  • Arrive onsite and prepare the construction trailer for daily operations

  • Support staff with administrative needs and coordination

  • Manage deliveries, supplies, and documentation

  • Schedule meetings and provide logistical support

  • Assist with catering or special requests as needed

  • Wrap up daily tasks and prepare for the next day

    Team & Work Environment

  • Supports a busy, fast-paced construction project team

  • Acts as a key administrative partner to onsite personnel

  • Primarily an individual contributor role with high team interaction

  • Collaborative environment where the admin helps reduce workload for project staff

    Work Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, fully onsite

  • Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of administrative experience

  • Strong organizational skills and proactive approach

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience with SharePoint

  • Ability to anticipate needs and support a dynamic team environment

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP (nice to have)

  • Prior experience supporting construction projects or working in a field/trailer environment

  • Comfortable working with field-based teams

    Additional Requirements

  • Must be comfortable working onsite in a construction environment

  • Closed-toe shoes required; additional PPE provided as needed when entering the field

    Assignment Details

  • Duration: 12-month contract (project expected through Q2 2029, with potential for extension through project duration)

  • Location: 100% onsite at Lyon County Project site (1036 340th Ave, Tracy, MN)

  • Relocation: Preference for local candidates; open to those willing to relocate at their own expense

  • Travel: Occasional local travel for supplies or catering (mileage reimbursed; possible use of site vehicles)
