Amergis Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Townsend, Delaware

Now Hiring: Remote Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs)

Start Date: August 25, 2026

? 37.5 hours/week | 16-week contract (with potential extension)

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking Remote Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide high-quality teletherapy services to K–12 students for the 2026–2027 school year. These roles support medical-leave coverage and may transition between elementary and secondary caseloads depending on assignment needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced school-based SLPs who are confident working virtually and passionate about ensuring students receive continuous, high-impact services.

Position Overview

The Remote SLP will:

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations

  • Develop individualized treatment plans

  • Provide therapy aligned to IEP goals and physician orders

  • Document services in accordance with district and state standards

  • Deliver services through a secure teletherapy platform

  • Collaborate with teachers, related services, and families to support learning

Assignment DetailsElementary Positions (2 openings)

  • Grades: 1st–5th

  • Dates: Aug 25, 2026 – Nov 13, 2026 (approx.)

  • Virtual candidates accepted

Middle & High School Position (1 opening)

  • Grades: 6th–12th

  • Shared between two buildings

  • Dates: Nov 6, 2026 – Feb 17, 2027 (approx.)

  • Virtual candidates accepted

All roles are fully remote

Client interviews: Virtual

Minimum Requirements

  • Active SLP Licensure in the state of assignment

  • DE licensure OR active out-of-state licensure with willingness to secure DE reciprocity

  • CCC-SLP preferred (may be required depending on assignment)

  • 1+ year of school-based or pediatric experience (preferred)

  • Teletherapy platform proficiency required

  • CPR (if required by contract)

  • TB screening and health certificate per state/contract regulations

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
