The DuPont Towanda Plant is a highly leveraged film‑coating facility within DuPont’s Diversified Industrials business. We are seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer to provide technical expertise and engineering support for the products and processes on site. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the high‑quality, cost‑effective production of coated films and other manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities
Develop subject‑matter expertise in assigned products and processes.
Lead and support projects aimed at improving yield, quality, production uptime, and cost efficiency.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving process or equipment issues, including those related to customer complaints.
Partner with operations teams to address and eliminate recurring production challenges.
Recommend and implement equipment upgrades to improve performance, reduce manufacturing costs, and enhance product quality.
Identify, propose, and implement uptime improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Process Safety Management (PSM) professionals to strengthen site compliance with safety regulations.
Work with area engineers to enhance Technology Packages, including print upgrades, process‑to‑service documentation, and ensuring RAGAGEP compliance.
Provide technical input to support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
Actively participate on the plant Process Safety Management Committee.
Qualifications
Required:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or relevant science discipline.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficiency with computer‑based tools and systems.
Self‑motivated with the ability to identify issues and lead corrective actions.
Preferred:
5+ years of experience in process or product development.
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
