Job Title: Superintendent of ConstructionJob Description
Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Coordinate daily operations with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors. Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones. Utilize Procore to handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily logs. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to public project requirements and regulatory standards. Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues promptly.
Responsibilities
Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
Coordinate daily operations with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
Utilize Procore for handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily logs.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to public project requirements and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and promptly resolve issues.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with a General Contractor on public projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in Procore for project management tasks.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and manage subcontractors effectively.
Experience in developing 2-week lookaheads.
Construction management expertise.
In-depth understanding of safety protocols.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with multi-million-dollar public projects.
OSHA certification or equivalent safety training.
Familiarity with scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera.
Work Environment
This role involves working with a leading public bid contractor, managing projects from the ground up from inception to completion. The superintendent will be expected to work with various stakeholders and ensure seamless execution of construction activities in adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

This is a Permanent position based out of Towaco, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
