TFS Inc. (dba United Federated Systems) Mechanical Engineer in Totowa, New Jersey
Design and evaluate mechanical components and support structures for commercial fire alarm, intrusion detection, CCTV, and access control systems. Prepare CAD drawings, layouts, and technical specifications to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building and safety codes. Develop mounting configurations and enclosures to support system installation. Conduct testing, analyze performance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement design improvements. Coordinate with installation teams to support site assessments, commissioning, and reliable operation of life-safety and security systems.Job Requirements: At least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of experience.
