Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
Join our team as a Mechanic where you will maintain and repair production and packaging equipment. Your role will involve performing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting, as well as completing preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery. You will support line setups and changeovers, install and commission new production lines, troubleshoot PLC systems, and read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Documenting your work in the CMMS and ensuring equipment meets safety standards are also key components of this role.
Maintain and repair production and packaging equipment.
Perform mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
Complete preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
Support line setups and changeovers.
Install and commission new production lines.
Troubleshoot PLC systems, including inputs and outputs.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Document completed work in the CMMS.
Ensure equipment meets safety standards.
Support production uptime in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills
3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system knowledge.
Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with PLC systems, including inputs and outputs.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and use hand tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Totowa, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
