Honeywell Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist in Torrance, California
As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be for working as part of a high-performance team of sourcing professionals, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and managing supplier relationships to achieve business objectives.
You will report directly to our Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing. on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
As a key team member, you will continuously work to build a strong, diverse supply base.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and practices.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
YOU MUST HAVE
• 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Project Management or Finance.
• Proven history of driving cost savings and supplier performance improvement.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience in electrical and electronics sourcing / procurement

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with supplier relationship management and supplier development.
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is <$95,700-$119,600>. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is <$83,200-$104,000k>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
