Robert Half Accountant - Entry Level in Torrance, California
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to assist with a short-term project based in Torrance, California. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting processes, including reconciliations and financial data management. The role requires someone who is capable of working independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with statements.
• Assist in reconciling various accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Enter accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support the team with additional accounting duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with organizational accounting standards and procedures.
• Manage financial data and documentation in an organized manner.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines effectively. Requirements • Basic knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with bank and account reconciliations is preferred.
• Proficiency in handling accounting entries accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines within a short timeframe.
• Familiarity with Excel and financial software tools.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members.
