Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Non-Perishable)
Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate in a non-perishable distribution environment, you select and build customer orders using a voice-activated system and a motorized double pallet jack. You organize products on pallets safely and efficiently while working in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse.
Responsibilities
Select and pick orders accurately using a voice-activated system with a headset.
Operate a motorized double pallet jack (walkie rider) safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
Build stable and well-organized pallets by placing picked items in an orderly and secure manner.
Lift items weighing up to 70 lbs within a safe power zone, with frequent lifting of 30–40 lbs.
Perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while picking and stacking products.
Follow written and verbal instructions to complete orders correctly and on time.
Work effectively in a cold warehouse environment while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
Communicate clearly in English to coordinate with team members and understand work directions.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow safety practices in a busy warehouse with heavy equipment in motion.
Contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness and organization as needed.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and handle items up to 70 lbs within a safe power zone.
Ability to follow written instructions and verbal instructions accurately.
Experience or strong ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Comfort working in a cold environment for extended periods.
Ability to communicate and comprehend instructions in English.
Basic experience with pallet jacks, order picking, and general warehouse tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
Previous experience operating a pallet jack, including a motorized double pallet jack (walkie rider).
Experience with forklift operation or other material-handling equipment.
Familiarity with voice-activated picking systems and headset-based order selection.

Work Environment
You work in a very fast-paced, high-volume warehouse with a large footprint of approximately 250,000–400,000 square feet. The atmosphere is busy and energetic, with many pallet jacks and other equipment moving throughout the facility and over 200 employees picking orders at the same time. The environment can be loud, requiring constant situational awareness and adherence to safety practices. You operate in a cold warehouse setting, using a motorized double pallet jack and voice-activated picking technology with a headset. Work is physically demanding, involving frequent lifting, bending, and twisting throughout the shift. Dress is practical and safety-focused, suitable for cold temperatures and active material-handling work.
