Key job responsibilities
Work with Product & Development teams to design and implement test strategies to deliver a quality consumer software product.
Implement test automation while driving processes to reduce manual test coverage.
Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and the overall quality of the software.
Ensure our products meet high standards of quality, performance, security and reliability.
Help tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to the Amazon Kids quality engineering team.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
Experience in automation testing
Experience in manual testing
Experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
Fluency in SQA methodology and tools
Fluency with GenAI technology
Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, performance and stress testing, implementing and maintaining high quality test automation of both client and server systems
Experience building and designing test cases including knowledge of test methodologies
Experience with API automation testing including unit test frameworks
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience developing product test harnesses
Master's degree

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
