Job Overview
The Business Analyst II – Proposal Specialist is part of the Public Markets team , supporting sales enablement through the development of high-quality proposal materials. This role contributes to revenue growth by delivering accurate, timely, and customized responses to client and prospect requests.
Reporting to the Proposal Team Lead/Manager , this role focuses on executing and managing the end-to-end proposal development process. Responsibilities include content creation, research, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring alignment with compliance and organizational standards, while collaborating with global and Canadian teams.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development & Execution
Develop and complete RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and other proposal materials to support sales and business development efforts
Manage the full proposal lifecycle , ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to firm standards
Research, draft, and customize content using internal databases and subject matter expert (SME) input
Ensure all deliverables are high-quality, client-focused, and submitted within deadlines
Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance
Collaborate with SMEs across investment, product, legal, and compliance teams to gather and validate information
Partner with Compliance and Legal to obtain necessary approvals for proposal content
Serve as a key resource for global sales and marketing teams , providing proposal-related support
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in financial services or proposal writing roles
Experience with proposal/RFP systems such as Qvidian (preferred), Loopio, or Responsive is an asset
