The Program Manager, Commercial Card Implementation is responsible for leading the planning, setup, and execution of Commercial Card and Visa Payables Automation implementations for Scotiabank clients across Canada and the United States. The role also supports ongoing program operations by delivering customer training, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Success in this position contributes directly to business objectives by ensuring new programs launch efficiently, achieve expected volumes, and operate smoothly.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Commercial Card and Payables Automation programs to meet spend and financial targets
Assess client needs and recommend the most effective implementation approach.
Build strong client relationships to support clear communication and issue resolution.
Deliver effective client training on policies, processes, reporting, best practices, and provide ongoing support to maintain high satisfaction
Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party providers to ensure smooth delivery
Manage third‑party provider deliverables throughout implementation and post‑launch to ensure alignment with project goals
Identify, escalate, and support resolution of product or process issues, ensuring client feedback is addressed
Follow departmental procedures and maintain accurate, complete, and compliant documentation
Improve cost efficiency through proper billing of chargeable services and timely closure of unused services
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
Experience working with Commercial Visa Card offerings is preferred
Minimum 2+ years of project management experience
Bilingualism in French is mandatory
Commercial Card, Payable Automation and TSYS experience is an asset
Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills
Minimum 2 years previous Corporate or Commercial banking or business experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Project Management certification (PMP) and/or SCRUM is an asset
