As part of our Rail & Transit team, you will help shape high‑performing transit environments across Canada. This hybrid role—based in any major Canadian city—puts you at the heart of projects that move people safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Your Impact
Develop and maintain sophisticated passenger behaviour simulation models for rail, bus, aviation, and urban mobility systems.
Lead both static and dynamic passenger flow modelling using software such as LEGION, Viswalk, and MassMotion.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including engineering, architecture, landscape, and safety—to design integrated and human‑centric simulation environments.
Conduct rigorous validation, calibration, and testing to ensure simulation reliability, accuracy, and alignment with industry standards.
Produce high‑quality data visualizations, analyses, technical reports, and presentations for client and internal use.
Support client engagement by translating modelling outcomes into clear, actionable insights.
Stay current on crowd dynamics, human‑factors research, and modelling best practices, and apply them to elevate project outcomes.
Contribute to design reviews, innovation sessions, and mobility planning problem‑solving activities.
The Skills That Set You Apart
4+ years of experience in passenger modelling or agent‑based simulation within transportation, mobility, or urban planning environments.
Proficiency in LEGION, Viswalk, MassMotion, and strong capability in Python and Excel/VBA for analysis and automation.
Experience modeling major transit facilities and/or involvement in developing Crowd Control Plans (CCPs).
Strong analytical mindset with comfort navigating complex algorithms and mathematical models.
Knowledge of MATLAB or R for data visualization and interpretation.
Understanding of transportation systems, human factors, and crowd dynamics.
A collaborative, curious, and innovation‑driven approach to solving mobility challenges.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 – $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 – $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $89,200 – $118,500
