Overview
Publicis Health Canada is seeking an Account Supervisor with a passion for and experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising to support a large, leading global pharmaceutical client. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on US-focused business while being based in Canada and embedded within an integrated, cross-border agency team.
The Account Supervisor will manage and support day-to-day account operations, creative asset management, and execution with oversight from a senior account lead, while building strong relationships with internal partners and client stakeholders. Day-to-day work will be closely integrated with US-based partner teams, providing valuable exposure to the US healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities
Partner strategically and creatively with internal teams including Creative, Planning, and Production
Lead secondary elements of campaign deliverables independently with selective oversight from senior account leadership
Serve as a brand and product knowledge champion, ensuring strong understanding of product features, benefits, and competitive positioning
Champion agency understanding of the competitive landscape, including competitive reviews, program assessments, and marketplace trends
Collaborate closely with Creative teams to ensure adherence to strategy, brand standards, and client feedback
Lead weekly status meetings, both internally and with client stakeholders
Develop and deliver tactical briefs, timelines, and post-campaign reports
Partner with production and integration teams to support creative execution across channels
Guide and oversee assigned project budgets and timelines
Provide input, consultation, and collaboration with cross-agency and client partners
Qualifications
4–5 years of agency account management experience, ideally within pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing within the US healthcare environment, including FDA regulations and processes
Experience supporting US-focused business strongly preferred
Proven experience working across DTC and HCP initiatives
Ability to manage processes and teams with selective involvement from senior account leadership
Strong ability to collaborate closely with Project Management partners, contributing to timelines, workflows, and delivery while ensuring assigned tasks and account responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to flex between lead and support roles
Creative, solutions-oriented thinker who performs well under pressure
Solid understanding of multi-channel execution, including digital, social, and video
Additional information
Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
