Cognizant Sr. Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer in Toronto, ON-199 Bay Street, Ontario

About the role:

As a Sr. Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer, you will make an impact by designing, configuring, and implementing scalable Guidewire solutions that support key insurance business processes. You will be a valued member of the ISG team and collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other technical partners to build high quality ClaimCenter capabilities that improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.


In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, configure, and test high quality software solutions within Guidewire ClaimCenter.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues to ensure system stability and optimal performance.

• Maintain and enhance existing business applications, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.

• Create, update, and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

• Partner with cross functional teams—including architects, business partners, and QA—to deliver robust, scalable functionality.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Hands on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and integration.

• Strong understanding of Guidewire application design, architecture, and best practices.

• Proficiency with GOSU, Guidewire Events Framework, Rules Framework, and Guidewire Web Services.

• Experience designing, developing, and testing software solutions in enterprise environments.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments.


These will help you stand out:

• ACE Certification (preferred but not required).

• Experience working with cross functional agile delivery teams.

• Background supporting large scale insurance transformation programs.

• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until April 26, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $ 119,000 - $ 140,000 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
