You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.
How you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

If you are a motivated Millwright Technician with maintenance experience looking to join a progressive company in the CPG and food industry. This role requires technical expertise, a strong understanding of automation and electronics, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment in strict adherence to manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
Install, dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment as required to maintain optimal functionality.
Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize production processes and implement enhancements.
Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and completed repairs.
Conduct preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks with precision and timeliness.
Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), 5S, and quality standards.
Evaluate and restore equipment to base condition standards.
Perform routine inspections and promptly address equipment abnormalities.
Replace defective machinery parts, adjust equipment, and fabricate components when necessary.
Accurately complete paperwork, close work orders (WOs), create notifications, and document preventive maintenance (PM) completion.
Actively engage in Root Cause Analysis to resolve issues and prevent future breakdowns.
Utilize testing equipment, technical manuals, and schematic drawings to investigate and resolve machine malfunctions.
Contribute to the development and implementation of IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma) tools and systems, including Equipment Criticality classifications, Adjustment Points, Centerlines, Visual Controls, CIL (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication), and troubleshooting manuals.
Participate actively in the DMS (Daily Management System) cycle of the plant.
Contribute to Changeovers and Sanitation procedures, seeking opportunities for improvement through Poke Yoke and SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Dies) methodologies.
Execute focused improvements to address weaknesses and prevent major failures.
Monitor key performance indicators such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and minor stoppages to understand equipment performance.
Support PM pillar members in developing an Asset Management (AM) training program.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen principles.
Report any safety hazards, cleanliness issues, or operational problems that could affect production quality.
Demonstrate unwavering personal and professional integrity in all interactions and activities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience as a licensed Millwright in the CPG or food industry .
High school diploma.
Solid understanding of automation systems, electronics, and mechanical principles.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management.

The expected annualized salary range for this position is $75,762.00 to $98,124.00 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 5% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results, and potential shift premiums and / or overtime.
