Summary: Responsible for the fabrication of appliances according to Great Lakes Dental Technologies procedures and standards.
Department: Laboratory
Functions: Pumice and Polish, Model Prep, Wirebender, Trimmer, Acrylic, Biostar, Banding, Pour and Dupe, Quality Control, Nylon.
Supervisor: Manager of Laboratory Operations 2nd Level: VP of Operations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principle functions of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent to the job. 1. Interprets prescriptions (RX) and verifies the doctors instructions. 2. Checks products due dates and prioritizes work by completing work in order due. 3. Completes assigned processes according to Great Lakes standards and time constraints. 4. Performs Quality checks on product. 5. Maintains Laboratory equipment. 6. Maintains clean laboratory workspace. 7. Cross trains on required laboratory jobs. 8. Performs assigned work functions as production requires. 9. Remains current and adheres to all safety and occupational health policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum Requirements to Hire:
No previous education or experience required. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.Other skills and Abilities: Reasoning Ability: Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations. Ability to review data, draw conclusions and make suggestions based on data.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 Hourly
