OceanFirst Bank Loan Administration Associate in Toms River, New Jersey
What We Expect of You
Strong knowledge of mortgage and consumer loans and basic knowledge of collections, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and PMI claims
Knowledge of Investor and FHA mitigation requirements
Proficient in MS Office Suite and ability to navigate Loan Operations systems.
Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent negotiation skills, along with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage projects effectively and prioritize tasks.
Your Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS degree preferred.
A minimum of 4 years' experience in Loan Operations required, specifically in consumer loan servicing preferred.
A minimum of 2 years' experience using E-Oscar strongly preferred.
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTACTS
Periodic contact and coordination with other departments and divisions required.
External contact with service providers and with entities we provide services.
Frequent internal contact with Loan Originations, Operations, Information Technology and Accounting departments.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Office environment. Ability to operate a computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups. Ability to travel throughout Bank footprint.
