ALL AMERICAN DO IT CENTER Outside Sales / Building Material Sales in TOMAH, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Title Outside Sales Reports To Sales Manager Status Salaried Exempt for Outside Sales & Hourly for Building Material Sales Roles Objective of Position: Responsible for the selling projects and materials to both professional contractor customers and retail customers giving all a positive customer experience. The team member in this position will utilize our customer service guidelines during the entire sales process, from customers entering the store or meeting outside the store, providing product information along with a commitment to ensure customer satisfaction with the materials, project or job that is sold. Essential Functions: Provide excellent customer service. Must have excellent communication skills with both the customer and work associates. Prospect and develop new business opportunities through various channels. Ability to learn and utilize our processes and our computer system generating quotes, invoicing, orders and receiving. Learn and utilize allowed computer programs, sites that facilitate their job. Participate in vendor sponsored lunch and learn opportunities for themselves and their customer. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Ability to travel from site to site, therefore a valid drivers\' license with an acceptable driving record for insurance purposes is required. Must be willing to answer the phone as instructed and help the customer on the phone as needed. Help customers find the location of products Answer customers\' questions and provide information on company policies Perform other duties and tasks as assigned Job Qualifications: Proven sales experience in the building materials industry or related field Education Qualifications- prefer High School diploma but no experience required Skills- Problem solver, detail-oriented, outstanding customer service skills, excellent communication skills, actively looks for ways to help people Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment: This job generally operates in an inside office environment with occasionally working outside. Answer customers\' questions about services, prices, availability, or credit terms. Attend sales or trade meetings or read related publications to obtain information about market conditions, business trends, regulations, or industry developments. Compute and compare costs of services. Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support. Contact prospective or existing customers to discuss how services can meet their needs. Create forms or agreements to complete sales. Develop sales presentations or proposals to explain service specifications. Emphasize or recommend service features based on knowledge of customers\' needs and vendor capabilities and limitations. Identify prospective customers using business directories, leads from clients, or information from conferences or trade shows. Inform customers of contracts or other information pertaining to purchased services. Maintain customer records using automated systems. Monitor market conditions, innovations, and competitors\' services, prices, and sales. Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.
