We are hiring Lifeguards and Strong Swimmers in and around the Toledo, OH areas
Pay: $16.00 per hour
ASSISTANCE WITH LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION AVAILABLE!
As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all pool patrons. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor activities in and around the pool area, enforce safety rules, and provide assistance in emergency situations. This position requires a vigilant and proactive individual who is committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
MUST HAVE UP TO DATE CERTIFICATION
Responsibilities
- Supervise swimmers and ensure their safety at all times.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed.
- Conduct regular pool maintenance checks, ensuring cleanliness and proper chemical balance.
- Assist with pool cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic swimming environment.
- Provide excellent guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on lifeguarding techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities.
Skills
- Certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR is required.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues effectively.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and cleaning practices.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment or perform physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent communication skills for effective guest interaction.
- Strong observational skills to identify potential hazards or unsafe behavior.
- A commitment to safety and the well-being of all patrons.
