Toledo Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. Property management Maintenance Technician in Toledo, Ohio
We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our property management team as a Property Management Maintenance Crew Member. In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across multiple single-family properties in the Toledo Metro area, performing repairs and installations as well as recommending subcontractors for serious infrastructural projects. You must be able to address a host of common property issues, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, window repairs, door repairs, appliance repairs, drywall repairs, painting, and more. Our ideal candidate has several years of professional experience in property management, building trades or maintenance, along with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to respond to emergencies as they arise.
Duties
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties.
- Perform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and damaged systems.
- Diagnose and repair problems with HVAC, electrical, and water systems.
- Reporting to supervisor for major repairs.
- Working a rotation of on call for emergencies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED certificate.
- Vocational or trade school certification is preferred but not required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and carpentry.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license and must be insurable.
- Physical ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects, use stairs throughout the workday.
