*Responsibilities *
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students
- Utilize state standards,and research-based best practices in classroom instruction
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans
- Communicate with families regarding the academic and social-emotional growth of their child
- Incorporate technology skills into daily practice to support learning
- Collaborate with teaching team, parents, and administrators
- Create a safe and engaging learning environment
Qualifications
- Ohio teaching license for the corresponding grade level, or the ability to obtain a license
- Knowledge of Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession and Special Education
- Willingness to meet the needs of all students (e.g. at-risk, high achieving, special education)
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships effectively and professionally with families and students
- Willingness to work in school-sponsored and school related activities
- Experience working with a culturally diverse student population
