Google ユーザー エクスペリエンス（UX）チームでは、UX デザイナー、リサーチャー、ライター、コンテンツ ストラテジスト、プログラム マネージャー、エンジニアなど、さまざまな専門分野のメンバーが Google プロダクトのユーザー エクスペリエンスの向上に携わっています。このチームは、Google のプロダクトを使うユーザーの行動や感情に関する分析情報を収集し、得られた知見を活かして優れたデザインを実現するうえで、重要な役割を担っています。チームメンバー同士で、またエンジニアリング チームやプロダクト マネジメント チームとも緊密に連携しながら、業界をリードするプロダクトを作り出し、そのユーザーと Google のビジネスの双方に価値をもたらしています。

インタラクション デザイナーには、ユーザーセンタード デザイン手法を活用してコンセプト設計から実装まで携わり、業界トップクラスのユーザー エクスペリエンスを創出することが求められます。UX に関わるあらゆる職種と同じく、デザイン面のパートナーとともに Google のデザイン言語を活用、発展させながら、革新的かつ魅力的で美しい、多くのユーザーに愛されるプロダクトを作り出してください。

ジオチームは、マップ、Earth、ストリートビュー、Google Maps Platform などのプロダクトを通じ、正確かつ包括的で利便性が高い地図を Google ユーザーの皆様に提供するために取り組んでいます。世界を広げ、日常生活に役立つ Google マップのサービスは、月間 10 億人を超えるユーザーに利用されています。

また、さまざまなアプリやウェブサイトの強化に Google マップのプラットフォーム機能を活用できるよう、デベロッパーの皆様を支援するのもジオチームの役割です。複雑なコンピュータ サイエンスの問題解決、直感的に操作できる美しいプロダクト デザイン、実世界の把握精度の向上を通じて、地図の未来を切り拓きます。

Responsibilities

• 提案されたソリューションの根拠を、プロダクトに関する分析情報とユーザーの共感を取り入れて関係者に伝え、賛同を得て意見を揃える。

• 仮説をテストすることでユーザーの主な課題を特定し、制約を回避して、デザインに関するすべての意思決定が健全な論理と創造的な探求に裏付けられるようにする。

• 視覚的な基準を高めつつ、従来の UX パターンにとらわれない高忠実度のデザインを制作し、真に新しいものを生み出す。

• ユーザーからのフィードバックとデータを使用して、コンセプトからプロトタイプを短期間で作成し、改良とイテレーションを重ねて成功に導く。

• 複数部門のパートナーからフィードバックを集め、エンジニアリングの制約を事前に考慮して、提案が構築可能であることを確認する。Google のデザイン システムを活用し、またデザイン システムに貢献して、拡張性とチーム間の連携を確保する。
