The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team is looking for planner in the space of Supply Chain, Inventory Planning and Forecasting. The primary role of Sr. Specialist, Ops Planning is to create the S&OP plan which is the important input for resource planing in labor and trucks to address business challenges and create short-term plan with consistency of long team strategy and leads multiple topology projects, working with multiple functions and teams.

S&OPプランナーサプライチェーンのプランニングチームを担当し、複数のチームと協業しながらアマゾンのフルフィルメントネットワークの長期計画に沿った中短期の入出荷計画、トポロジー計画を作成し、人員やトラックなどのすべてのリソースの基盤となる重要な数字を作成する。

Key job responsibilities

The main responsibilities of Specialist, Ops Planning is to create specific product network forecast for resource planning. This position is also required to automate the planning process to further scale the planning and utilize our resource with securing its accuracy. This position also need to lead the projects to expand inbound and outbound network.

About the team

The primary mission of the S&OP team is to provide a short to medium term fulfillment plan (up to 13 weeks) for JP Amazon network in order to make labor planning and truck/driver plan using multiple inputs working with a lot of stakeholders.

S&OPのミッションはFCの人員計画や配送計画策定のために様々なインプットを駆使して複数のステークホルダーと協業しながら13週間の短中期の計画を策定することです。

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
