UL, LLC Senior Project Engineer in Tokyo, Japan
Job description:
Evaluation and certification services related to safety of industrial products, industrial equipment, industrial components, etc.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding product safety standards and regulations
Project management from technical meeting to certification
Work with other departments to confirm deadlines and project management.
Communication with engineers and laboratories mainly in Japan and overseas.

◆ FA 機器、 FA 部品の安全評価・認証業務
◆ 製品安全規格、規制に関するお客様からのお問い合わせ対応、技術相談
◆ 認証の為の試験立ち合い監査
◆ 期限内完了の為のプロジェクトマネージメント(お客様や他部署との折衝)
◆ 国内外エンジニアやラボとのコミュニケーション など
Requirements:
Minimum of a university degree in science or electrical engineering
Communication skills (including communication in English), self-motivated
English reading and report writing skills, presentation skills (including MS Office and other simple PC skills)
Flexibility, analytical skills, and attention to detail in dealing with
a person capable of acting independently

◆ コミュニケーション能力
◆ 産業機器の電気回路設計経験者は歓迎
◆ 英語読解・レポート作成能力がある方
◆自律的に行動出来る方
University Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program plus eight years directly related work experience.
Detailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline.
Working knowledge of conformity standards in use in areas of expertise.
Demonstrated ability to apply project-handling concepts in use in areas of expertise,
including application to complex, new, or unusual products.
Working knowledge of industry issues, needs, and problems.
