Chevron Corporation Infrastructure Systems Analyst in Tokyo, Japan

Plans, organizes, implements and maintains the hardware and software infrastructure and services.

This BU Co-located position will work closely with key delivery teams focusing on operational and reliability requirements to assure safe and optimal running of the IT and Process Control Network related infrastructure Systems, aligning with the technical standards across Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, Software and Security technologies for the Chevron Oronite Japan Ltd.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Engage ITOF and managed service partners to meet appropriate service level agreements.

  • Advocate and provide clarification on ITOF operating model and impact, pertaining to business and ITOF products.

  • Management of Asset Lifecycle Plans (including maintenance agreements).

  • Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of existing BU services, including IM, TAR, Desktop, Print, AV, Mobility systems, from a practical implementation and support perspective.

  • Oversee assurance and verification activities with managed service partners (MSP), including contracts, corrective and preventative maintenance and Chevron Managing Safe Work processes.

  • Support system compliance aligned with Chevron and industry standards.

  • Commitment to health, environment and safety and Chevron best practises.

  • Deliver reliable and secure IT operations in PCN/OT Systems while enabling digital capabilities, providing technical support, troubleshooting and fault rectification of technical issues.

  • Execute OT site requests for PCN Infrastructure support and develop new site capability requests working with platform teams.

  • Build relationships and partner with local, site based and international teams to provide robust and secure PCN Operations.

  • Be the SME for governance, compliance and cyber security impacting our PCN assets.

  • Administer operational infrastructure and applications including trouble shooting, monitoring and inventory management.

  • Provide security compliance and design to ensure systems are compliant with relevant policies, standards, technical controls.
