プロダクト開発サポートマネージャーは Clinical Solutions Japan のディレクターにレポートし、コンテンツチーム、エンジニア、その他ステークホルダーと密接に連携しながら、アイデアの創出から開発・デリバリーまでを推進します。

About the role

We are seeking a resourceful Product Development Support Manager with strong technical expertise to join our Product Management team. In this role, you will play a key part in the discovery, planning, and execution of new digital product initiatives and strategic extensions. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of our local product portfolio in Japan, with a focus on digital solutions for clinicians and healthcare professionals.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Solutions Japan, the Product Development Support Manager will work closely with stakeholders incl. content teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring innovative product ideas to life—from early discovery through to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and execution support during product discovery and development phases.

  • Collect, organize, and classify new product ideas or feature extensions to evaluate their alignment with customer needs and business growth potential.

  • Capture detailed functional specifications and requirements for new product ideas, enhancements, or roadmap items.

  • Develop and contribute to design briefs, including specifications, process sketches, or prototypes to clearly communicate product concepts and priorities.

  • Translate product concepts into a structured and prioritized development backlog, working closely with product managers.

  • Collaborate with engineering, content, UX, and QA to ensure on-time, on-strategy execution of the product development roadmap.

  • Monitor progress across sprints/releases and proactively remove blockers in the delivery cycle.

  • Help maintain alignment across local and global teams, ensuring transparency, documentation, and communication around ongoing product development.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in roles such as:

  • System Integration Consultant/ Manager (e.g., Accenture, IBM, or similar)

  • Product Operations / Product Support roles in EdTech, HealthTech, or SaaS environments (software development testing) – work for a global company, interpret the language between the different teams

  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, including Agile methodologies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and cross-functional delivery.

  • Experience working with technical and content teams to align on product requirements and execution priorities.

  • Ability to document, track, and translate complex product requirements into actionable workstreams.

  • Comfortable working in multi-stakeholder environments, balancing input from local and global teams.

  • Strong project management skills, with an eye for timelines, dependencies, and delivery risks.

  • · Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese preferred.

  • A structured thinker and natural problem solver, with a focus on delivery excellence and customer value.
