Director, Category Finance & Investment Management - Coca-Cola, SCM and Productivity
Reports to: Senior Director, Investment Management (Based in Tokyo, Japan)
Location: Tokyo, Japan
This role will act as one of the key category owners for the Brand Finance team under Investment Management in Finance. This role will be responsible for Category P&L management in collaboration with the Finance & Marketing teams. In this context the role will be expected to manage all aspects of the Category P&L including top-line, productivity, investments. The role will contribute to growth and margin opportunities for the Japan and Korea Operation Unit which is an important contributor to the success of the company.
In addition, this role will lead the connection between Finance and the SCM team, driving the overall productivity initiative of the OU aligned to the category team P&L delivery.
What You'll Do for Us
Category P&L preparation and management
SCM Finance (OU side) & Productivity delivery
Investment analysis and financial insights and support for the Category P&L
Reporting on business performance for category with key leadership audience
All aspects of financial management and full P&L ownership within the category (planning, tracking, investment, scenarios, productivity, reporting)
Qualifications & Requirements
Knowledge & Experience - The ideal candidate will possess:
8+ years of experience in Finance (Commercial Finance experience preferred)
Experience owning area of financial strategy/planning within a large-scale or multinational company
Strong understanding of a commercial business (beverage industry or FMCG preferred), including topline, P&L, capex investments, and marketing
Strong command of Excel, presentation skills
Experience using English and Japanese in business setting

Understand key metrics on business performance rooted in knowledge of financials

Effectively communicate at working level to develop financial insights and business cases in a very diverse business community
Leverage communication and organizational skills to independently coordinate with stakeholders, manage projects/initiatives, and drive work forward effectively
