Your role and responsibilities
As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP SCM GTS, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP SCM GTS solutions for clients across various industries. You will work closely with clients to understand their global trade requirements and design, implement, and deliver SAP SCM GTS solutions that meet their needs. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design SAP SCM GTS Solutions: Analyze business requirements and design SAP SCM GTS solutions for clients, taking into account their unique global trade needs and industry-specific functionality. • Implement SAP SCM GTS Modules: Configure and implement SAP SCM GTS modules, including industry-specific functionality such as SAP GTS Trade Compliance and SAP GTS Customs Management. • Develop Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their global trade needs and provide tailored solutions that optimize their operations and improve compliance. • Deliver Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on SAP SCM GTS solutions, ensuring they can effectively utilize the system to achieve their business objectives. • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and SAP product developments to ensure solution relevance and competitiveness.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Experience with SAP SCM GTS Configuration: Proven ability to configure and implement SAP SCM GTS modules, including industry-specific functionality such as SAP GTS Trade Compliance and SAP GTS Customs Management. • Industry Knowledge: Experience in analyzing business requirements and designing SAP SCM GTS solutions for clients across various industries, taking into account their unique global trade needs. • Solution Implementation: Experience with implementing SAP SCM GTS solutions that meet clients' global trade requirements, improving compliance and increasing efficiency. • Client Relationship Management: Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their global trade needs and provide tailored solutions. • SAP Product Knowledge: Certification in SAP SCM GTS or experience with SAP product developments, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Industry-Specific Functionality Knowledge: Experience with industry-specific functionality such as SAP GTS Trade Compliance and SAP GTS Customs Management, with the ability to configure and implement these modules to meet clients' unique global trade needs. • Global Trade Operations Understanding: Experience in analyzing business requirements and designing SAP SCM GTS solutions that optimize global trade operations, improve compliance, and increase efficiency. • SAP Product Developments Familiarity: Certification in SAP SCM GTS or experience with SAP product developments, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, enabling the development of solutions that are relevant and competitive.
Experience in SAP S4/HANA Sales and Distribution and GTS Strong background and experience in trade compliance and customs Experience with SAP GTS design and implementation Functional background in SAP SD or MM Lead design and configuration for green-field SAP GTS implementation in defence sector Experience in defense or similar regulated industry Citizenship in European Union country (no dual citizenship nor Hungary) Fluent in English Strong consulting/facilitation skills Occasional travel availability to Finland
