Your role and responsibilities
As an Application Developer: AWS Cloud FullStack, you will design and develop scalable, resilient, and cloud-native applications using modern technologies and methodologies. You will work in an Agile environment, delivering solutions through continuous release and improvement cycles. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop Applications: Design and develop REST APIs, utilizing frameworks such as Node.js or Python
• Develop Scalable Backend Microservices: Develop scalable and resilient backend microservices based on 12-factor principles, exposing functionality via API and event interfaces, using programming languages such as NodeJS, or Python.
•Implement Cloud-Native CI/CD: Implement cloud-native Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for change release, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software changes.
• Manage AWS Services: Run and manage services on AWS, including PaaS, content delivery, routing services, databases, event-driven applications, and observability tools.
• Ensure DevSecOps Practices: Implement DevSecOps practices using AWS services such as CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, and CodeCommit, ensuring secure and efficient software development and deployment.
Required technical and professional expertise
Strong experience building serverless applications (e.g. AWS Lambda)
Experience integrating Lambda functions with REST APIs via API Gateway
Solid understanding of authentication and authorization (IAM roles, JWT, Auth 2.0, including Attribute-Based Access Control - ABAC)
Experience designing and implementing fine-grained access control policies (ABAC concepts, policy evaluation flows)
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Node.js, Python, or Go Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (application and infrastructure)
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with serverless frameworks (AWS SAM, Serverless Framework, AWS CDK)
Experience with policy-as-code tools (e.g. OPA/OPAL) and writing/testing Rego policies
Familiarity with HTTP client libraries and SON processing
