Your role and responsibilities
As a Java Team Lead, you will need to both develop code and steer a team of 4-5 developers, communicate well with all the stakeholders including the customer, see all sprint items brought to fulfilment with respect of deadlines and quality.
You will be involved in technical design (with a medium-term openness towards a hands-on architect role, if so desired) and discussing it with client architects.
The assignment is long-term (years) and is part of a program of 80 people in Romania, with many more in France, either in IBM or on customer premises.
The fraction of your duties allocated to the TL activities is 50%.
Required technical and professional expertise
Experience with Java (18+), JEE, JDBC, Java design patterns, architectural patterns, Dependency Injection, Java Collections, threads, concurrency;
Good understanding of Spring and Hibernate (or other ORM);
Experience with relational databases;
Experience with any cloud brand (AWS, IBM, Azure, Google)
Good communication skills, organized
Capable of research and to propose solutions/design
Preferred technical and professional experience
Experience with CI configuration
French language proficiency
