Panasonic North America Production Supervisor in Tijuana, Mexico

Resumen

This role leads production teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

Mains Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery goals.

  • Lead, coach, and develop production operators and team leaders.

  • Monitor production performance metrics (KPIs) such as efficiency, scrap, downtime, and productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen).

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics) to resolve production issues.

  • Manage staffing levels, shift schedules, and overtime as required.

  • Ensure proper use of materials, equipment, and resources to optimize costs.

  • Investigate and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma is a plus).

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
