This role supports transportation planning, carrier coordination, and compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations, contributing to efficient supply chain operations.
Responsabilidades
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal stakeholders
Schedule and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and minimize delays
Manage transportation documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork
Monitor freight costs and support cost optimization initiatives
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers regarding shipment status
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations (e.g., IMMEX, customs requirements)
Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Support inventory control through proper tracking of shipments and discrepancies
Analyze logistics data and generate reports on performance metrics (OTD, transit time, cost)
Identify and resolve shipping issues, delays, or damages in a timely manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Purchasing, Warehouse) to ensure material flow continuity
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or traffic in a manufacturing environment (maquiladora preferred)
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of transportation processes (LTL, FTL, expedited shipments)
Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs documentation
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reports, pivot tables)

Language
