Resumen
is responsible for supporting procurement activities by purchasing materials, components, and services required for production and operations. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Responsabilidades
Main Responsibilities
Execute purchase orders based on MRP requirements and production schedules.
Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
Follow up on open orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or shortages.
Maintain accurate data in ERP systems (e.g., pricing, lead times, supplier information).
Support negotiations for pricing, terms, and delivery schedules under supervision.
Coordinate with internal teams such as Production, Planning, Engineering, and Quality.
Assist in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating existing suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Participate in inventory control efforts to maintain optimal stock levels.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (manufacturing preferred).
Skills:
Basic knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Language:
- English: Intermediate to advanced (professional communication).
