We have a job opening and exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior Controller in our Tiffin, Ohio location (Hybrid). The primary focus of the Senior Controller is to lead all aspects of financial management through the direction of Concordance Healthcare Solutions' Chief Financial Officer. Their leadership responsibilities will encompass corporate accounting, financial reporting, cash management, bank and financial audits as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. The Senior Controller provides executive oversight of the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger functions, ensuring operational excellence and financial integrity across all areas. This role is responsible for establishing the strategic direction, performance objectives, and operational priorities for each team, aligning departmental initiatives with the organizational goals and long-term business strategy. The Senior Controller is expected to serve as a key financial leader, partnering closely within the Finance and Accounting organization, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and other business segments, and working directly with the Executive Leadership Team to drive informed decision-making and organizational performance. Essential Functions: Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL). Lead and develop teamby coaching, training, and providing feedback, to promote a culture of accountability professional development, high-performance and ethical behavior. Set the strategic direction for all accounting and financial functions within areas of oversight, aligning departmental objectives with overall company goals. Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare, review, and publish monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Coordinate and direct financial statement preparation and analysis in collaboration with Finance, Supplier Relations, and cross-functional departments. Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual external financial audit, serving as the primary liaison for auditors. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and oversee appropriate research and resolution of technical accounting issues. Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and documented business processes to safeguard assets and ensure quality control over financial transactions. Assess and improve current accounting operations, recommend process enhancements, and implement new systems or efficiencies, including ERP upgrades or implementations. Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and overall financial strategy, including leadership of cash management processes and bank collateral audits. Monitor financial performance metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership. Design and maintain an effective organizational structure within the accounting department, while leading, mentoring, and developing team members.
