Commercial Construction Worker
$18 - $25
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Commercial Job Sites
We are seeking a dependable Construction Worker to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project close‑out . This role involves hands-on work across all phases of construction, including site prep, structural work, concrete, and finish carpentry. Ideal for someone who enjoys variety, physical work, and being part of a team that builds projects start to finish.
Job Responsibilities
Perform demolition, earthwork, and excavation activities
Place, form, and finish concrete
Prepare layouts and assist with site measurements
Erect framework for structures
Install ceilings, walls, windows, doors, and cabinetry
Perform welding as required
Signal equipment operators and assist with material handling
Support finish carpentry and final project details
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial construction preferred
Experience across multiple trades a plus (concrete, framing, carpentry, welding)
Ability to perform physical labor in an active jobsite environment
Comfortable working outdoors and in varying conditions
Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
Willingness to learn new skills and take on different tasks

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tiffin, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
