Wat deze rol bijzonder maakt
Als Field Service Engineer speel je een belangrijke rol in onze organisatie in Nederland. De persoon in deze rol is verantwoordelijk voor de regio Venlo/provincie Limburg . Je bent hét gezicht van Videojet bij onze klanten en zorgt ervoor dat installaties, onderhoud en oplossingen soepel verlopen. Daarbij sta je er nooit alleen voor: je werkt nauw samen met ons technische supportteam én collega’s uit sales en service.
Dit is een functie voor iemand die graag onderweg is, energie krijgt van technische uitdagingen en plezier heeft in klantcontact.
In deze functie rapporteer je aan Tom, Field Service Manager. Hij is verantwoordelijk voor al onze field services in Nederland.
Hoe je werkdag eruit ziet
Je start je dag met een planning die je zelf grotendeels mag organiseren. Bij een klant installeer je een nieuwe codeeroplossing, stel je de machine perfect af en beantwoord je technische vragen. Later op de dag voer je een onderhoudsbeurt uit, help je mee met een demonstratie voor een mogelijke nieuwe klant of overleg je met het team over een complexe storing.
En aan het einde van de dag? Dan rijd je weer richting huis - meestal zonder overnachtingen, want je werkt voornamelijk binnen de provincie Limburg (hooguit een stukje Noord-Brabant van tijd tot tijd).
Jouw verantwoordelijkheden
In deze rol ga je onder andere:
Nieuwe Videojet-oplossingen installeren en zorgen dat het soepel draait;
Onderhoud, service en troubleshooting uitvoeren op locatie
Nauwe samenwerking met sales om trials en demonstraties te ondersteunen
Sterke klantrelaties onderhouden door je sterke communicatie skills en service mindset
Serviceactiviteiten nauwkeurig registreren in onze IT-systemen
Bijdragen aan commerciële resultaten door servicecontracten en aanvullende diensten te adviseren

Voor deze rol zoeken we iemand die energie krijgt van technische puzzels en klantcontact.
Je hebt:
2 - 5 jaar Field Service-ervaring, op locatie of remote
Ervaring in markeren/coderen, industriële automatisering of een vergelijkbaar technisch domein (is een sterke plus)
Oog voor kwaliteit en een bewezen trackrecord in het behalen van doelen
Goede beheersing van Nederlands (harde eis) en Engels
Rijbewijs B en bereidheid om dagelijks naar klanten in Nederland te reizen (harde eis)
Bereidheid om voor training naar het buitenland te gaan

What makes this role so unique
As a Field Service Engineer , you play a key role in our Netherlands organization. In this role you are responsible for the region of Venlo/Limburg. You are the face of Videojet at customer sites and ensure smooth installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of our solutions. And you’re never on your own: you work closely with our technical support team as well as colleagues from sales and service.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road, thrives on technical challenges and genuinely likes engaging with customers.
You’re reporting to Tom, Field Service Manager who is leading the team of 9 across the Netherlands.
What your workday looks like
You start your day by reviewing your schedule, which you can largely organize yourself.
At your first customer visit, you install a new coding solution, fine-tune the machine and answer technical questions. Later in the day, you might carry out a preventive maintenance visit, support a demo for a potential customer, or join a team discussion about a more complex issue.
And at the end of the day? You drive back home - usually without overnight stays, since all your work is within the Netherlands.
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Install and commission new Videojet solutions and ensure smooth operation
Perform maintenance, service and troubleshooting on-site
Work closely with sales to support system trials and customer demonstrations
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through solid communication and service skills
Accurately document service activities in our IT systems
Contribute to commercial results by advising on service contracts and additional services
Our new colleague
We’re looking for someone who loves technical problem-solving and interacting with customers.
You bring:
2 - 5 years of Field Service experience, on-site or remote
Experience in coding/marking, industrial automation or a similar technical field (strong plus)
A focus on quality and a proven track record of achieving goals
Fluency in Dutch (required) and strong English skills
A valid driver’s license (required) and willingness to travel daily to customers across the Netherlands
Willingness to travel abroad for training
