Role Definition

Assists in the design, development, testing and manufacturing of electronic systems and other components for use within equipment or machinery.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the testing of electronic prototypes to ensure quality and safety in products.

• Assisting in the development and design of electronic prototypes using established theories and practices.

• Designing systems, components and devices that are consisting of electrical and electronic technology.

• Supporting internal and external manufacturing facilities that manufacture or install electronic systems and components.

• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Degree Requirement

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Engine Engineering, with experience in electrical systems, E&E components, or engine development, engine or generator electrical systems is preferred

Standard Operating Procedures: Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.

Level Working Knowledge:

• Adjusts SOPs according to changes in organizational and industry procedures.

• Tracks deviations from and modifications to existing SOPs in business operations.

• Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations and policies.

• Assists in establishing a standard operating procedure based on workflow and environment review.

• Reviews the efficiency of standard operating procedures in terms of performance improvement.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

• Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.

Electronics Engineering - HTH: Knowledge of electronics engineering; ability to design, test and manufacture electronic circuits, components and devices.

Level Working Knowledge:

• Researches considerations and tools used for converting schematics to layouts.

• Works with engineering electronic components or devices.

• Constructs circuit schematics; explains the interconnections between all electrical components.

• Addresses common issues and considerations in manufacturing electronic products.

• Implements processes and activities associated with the design and testing of electronic circuits.

Cost, Quality, and Continuous Improvement

• Support cost‑reduction initiatives, localization, and design optimization of engine and control panel electrical systems.

• Contribute to system standardization and best‑practice development across programs.
