Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an IT Project Manager to support a top-priority application development initiative for a client in the Richmond area. This is a 12+ month hybrid contract requiring 4 days onsite per week. The IT Project Manager will lead projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring outcomes are completed on time, within scope, and on budget while aligning with business goals and governance standards. The pay range for this role $40-$48/hr.
Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end IT project delivery, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align solutions with strategic and operational needs
• Adhere to and champion PMO standards, governance, and documentation practices
• Develop and maintain project plans, charters, status reports, and other key artifacts
• Facilitate project meetings, document decisions and action items, and communicate progress
• Lead current- and future-state business process documentation and improvement efforts
• Track and report project KPIs and provide updates to executive leadership
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners
• Manage vendor deliverables, statements of work, milestones, and invoice approvals
• Lead solution acceptance, go-live readiness, and transition to operations

Skills and Requirements
• 5+ years of IT project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience managing application development projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Working knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences • PMP, CAPM, or Scrum Master certification
• Experience working with third-party vendors
• Background in business process improvement initiatives
