Actalent MCS Manufacturing Associate in Thousand Oaks, California
Job Title: MCS Manufacturing AssociateJob Description
This position is fully onsite at USTO and operates primarily during the day shift with the possibility of transitioning to a swing shift, though this is not yet confirmed. The role involves working four days a week from 6 AM to 5 PM in a dynamic production environment, supporting development, clinical, and launch activities. The Manufacturing Process Technician will perform operations in the Manufacturing area under general supervision, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities
Perform hands-on operations including setup, cleaning, and sanitization of various manufacturing equipment.
Prepare buffers and media according to defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and SOPs.
Follow GMP documents, SOPs, and MPs with strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Perform and monitor critical processes, including basic troubleshooting.
Conduct in-process sampling of equipment and operate analytical equipment.
Carry out washroom activities, cleaning small and large-scale equipment used in production.
Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
Work in a clean room environment wearing steel toe shoes, full clean room gowning, hairnet, and gloves.
Initiate quality reports and draft/revise documents such as SOPs and MPs.
Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.
Assist in reviewing documentation for assigned functions, equipment logs, and batch records.
Perform activities involving periods of rigorous, repetitive work.
Work around high-pressure systems and occasionally around heavy equipment.
Essential Skills
Ability to work various shifts, including day, swing, graveyard, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by the production schedule.
Capability to work effectively in teams and complete operational tasks.
Strong initiative and ability to create a positive work environment through interactions with team members.
Capacity to regularly lift up to 35 lbs, push and pull objects requiring up to 50 lbs of force, and remain on feet for long durations.
Ability to perform physical movements necessary for daily functions on the production floor, including bending, reaching above the head, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, walking upstairs, and standing on portable stairs or ladders up to 6 feet off the ground.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
